3. When inspecting workpieces with a smooth ring gauge, it is necessary to lightly insert and plug. At the same time, when inspecting with a ring gauge, the position must be correct and cannot be skewed, otherwise the inspection result will be unreliable. Pay special attention to the fact that the inspection can only be carried out when the temperature of the inspected workpiece is consistent with that of the ring gauge, and the workpiece that has just been processed and is still hot cannot be inspected, otherwise it will cause a large error and lead to misjudgment.
4. After use, wipe the oil stains on the ring gauge with a clean cloth and apply anti-rust oil on the measuring surface of the smooth ring gauge.
5. The smooth ring gauge is a precision measuring tool. Handle it with care and avoid bumping the working surface.
6. The smooth ring gauge should be placed in a place that is free of vibration, slipping, bumping the working surface or slipping into a deep groove and lost.
7. The smooth ring gauge should be placed in a place without acidic or alkaline atmosphere. It is not allowed to be mixed with tools (hammers, pliers, etc.), knives, parts and other sundries, and it is not allowed to touch or stack with other measuring tools.
8. The smooth ring gauge must be inspected on time in strict accordance with the periodic verification plan of the measuring instrument, and can only be used after passing the verification.
